Ed lives on the top of Petit Jean Mountain in Morrilton, AR. He runs a farmer’s market on top of a mountain in a red barn where he sells food, furniture, and more. Ed has a great relationship with a local Amish community who sells their product at the farmer’s market. He lives fairly off the grid but his wife and daughter helped him gain an online presence by hosting his land on the camping app Hipcamp. I stumbled accross his site on the app while planning a road trip out west from Georgia. I was expecting a night camping in an Arkansas forest but I ended up making a friend in Ed and having an adventure of a lifetime. Here are some photos documenting my 12 hour stay on Ed’s Land. ‘Blood’ Tour, Summer 2019
During the summer of 2019, I was fortunate to join the rock band, Collective Soul, to document their live concerts and life on tour. While I photographed the band’s energetic concert experience, my main focus was to capture the intimate moments backstage and convey the dynamic relationships between the bandmates.
